Equal Rights Heritage Center

BID and the City of Auburn are creating a new family-friendly art & culture experience this summer. Creatives, artists, makers, musicians, and wellness practitioners are invited to embrace all-ages community in State Street Event Plaza on Wednesdays from 5:30 – 7:30 PM from the end of June through August. Our hope is for participants to expand their mind and circle of influence, share and grow personally and creatively through interactive experiences, and help activate the heart and soul of our downtown in the beautiful new State Street Event Plaza.

We envision musical performances of emerging solo & duo acts and a battle of the bands, choral concerts & sign-a-longs, guitar & music school performances, a drum circle, yoga & healing experiences, art & craft making, dance lessons, a silent book club, and vending.

The funding we request will be used for art & craft materials and paying local talent to offer performances and hands-on activities.
