Auburn Public theater

For nineteen years, Auburn Public Theater (APT) has provided year-round arts education programs for youth ages 7-18. One of the most successful programs has been the summer musical theater program. This program is offered as “pay-what-you-can,” or at no cost to all families that participate.

We want to make our community stronger by engaging young people in the arts. By learning basic acting, singing and dance skills, we create more cooperation between people from diverse economic and cultural backgrounds. The goal is provide a unique arts experience that inspires students to continue their education and continue to pursue whatever arts discipline speaks to them. We do this in a way that makes it accessible to as many families, as possible.

The SKARTS grant will support the 2025 summer musical program.
